EXHIBITION @ BAR MUSIC HALL, CURTAIN ROAD, EC2 OCT 14TH 2008

Last week I had a show exhibiting some of my newest work at Bar Music Hall in Shoreditch.
I invited around 50 people and everyone who came had a few drinks. I hope you all enjoyed it!
I also painted a wall outside to coincide with the paintings, you can see the pics below.
The wall will be there for two months so if you happen to be in the area, pop in and take a look!

Many thanks to VEDETT BEER for sponsoring the show, and all the friendly staff at Bar Music Hall.
A special thanks to Liz and Conrad for helping me to hang the work, Dj Will B for spinning the tunes and all my friends for swinging by and supporting me.

My next exhibition will be in Shoreditch in November, location to be confirmed.

GREAT EASTERN STREET. JULY 08

Great Eastern Street
The works seen below are a series of paintings I produced in and around my local area in Shoreditch. The first one was produced on ply boards 8 ft x 12 ft under The Village Underground studios. It took two days to paint and we spent the afternoon of 1st July hanging it. By Thursday 3rd July it was stolen!
I couldn't believe it only lasted two days, I knew there was a possibility of it being stolen, I just hoped it would have lasted a bit longer.
It was reported to the local police and I now have a crime report in case it turns up in the future.
The art is for the people and my mission is to produce large paintings all over London for people to enjoy! Many thanks to Christian and Mark for helping me  hang the work.
After getting over the shock of losing my work, I decided I was not going to be defeated, so I bought some wallpaper, spent the afternoon hanging it with my friend Will, and then spent another two days producing the same image.
I had help filling in the base colour's from Ben, Conrad and Ranka. It was a good day!
Once the painting was completed it lasted for one week before someone decided they wanted it and they tried to remove it.
